I cannot tell you how eager I have been to read this book. Lellie and Zak are getting married. *throws confetti in the air* Snow, romance, family, relationships and much more, I absolutely loved, loved, loved A Winter Wedding at the Little Duck Pond Cafe.

*throws confetti in the air* Rosie Green is one of the sweetest authors out there. *throws confetti in the air* Her storytelling is SUPERB! *throws confetti in the air* The Little Duck Pond Cafe series is one of my favorite series. *I should stop throwing confetti in the air before someone complains that I am dirtying the place*

The story begins with a wedding and ends with another. Two weddings? Weren’t we told in the previous book that there would be just one wedding? The first wedding, um, doesn’t go as expected, I suppose. The bride sleeps with Hector a day before the wedding… Is ‘sleep’ the right term here? Maisie-Moo is the bride here so … um…

Ellie, the bride-to-be is over the moon. Madison has arranged a hen party at the spa. Who let the hens out? Bwok bwok bwok bwok bwok. Who let the hens out? Bwok bwok bwok bwok bwok. Primrose stays back at the cafe to spend time with her grandmother – Sylvia. Katja, Madison, Fen, Jaz and Ellie are off to the spa. Ellie is in for a surprise when she gets a wedding gift from Zak.

Fen is worried about something and so is Jaz. In one of the previous books, it was revealed that Jaz has endometriosis. She’s asked to undergo an operation but the poor thing is scared. What is Fen worried about? It’s got something to do with a certain ‘lost property’. πŸ˜€

Ellie has pre-wedding jitters. Did she and Zak jump in too soon? Zak’s been acting weird lately. Then comes the D-Day! Sometimes the best-laid plans might not go as expected… coz, they go way better than expected. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

I am so attached to this series that I do not want Rosie to end The Little Duck Pond Cafe series. Pretty please, Rosie. Keep this series going for ever and ever and ever.

Ellie, Fen, Jaz, Katja, Madison and Primrose have become my fictional friends. Pyjama party, Hen-do and the delicious goodies at the bakery – how I wish I could dive into my kindle and attend the parties and gorge on the baked goodies!

This is the eighth book in this series and all the characters are now well-established into whatever it is that they do. Fen’s started her food-delivery business and it is going well. Jaz has her Zumba classes and Ellie, her bakery. She also wants to start a baking school and has requested the authorities to grant permission for the same. Katja and Madison work at the bakery. Madison is always busy with something – most of the times, she goofs up stuff, especially when it comes to her love life. πŸ˜€

The story ends with Ellie and Zak’s wedding. Snow, pretty bride and bridesmaids and loads of surprises, I absolutely loved the ending! One last time, let me say *throws confetti in the air*

I highly recommend you to read The Little Duck Pond Cafe. πŸ™‚
