Cozy Mysteries, also known as cozies, is a sub-genre of crime fiction. If you do not like gore, violence or sex scenes in your crime fiction, then cozies are the right choice for you.
When it comes to Cozy Mystery, the reader is spoilt for choice – Crafting, baking and cooking – or anything to do with running a B&B or restaurant or cafe, paranormal, witches and many more!!
I love to read cozy mysteries. The stories are charming, tad funny and loads of amateur sleuthing! What I see as a trend in cozies is most of the amateur sleuths are women – recently divorced, in mid-thirties or early forties, and are picking up pieces of their broken lives to start over again.
With so many cozy debuts this year, I have decided to make a list of my favourites. Below are the debuts (the first book in the series) that I absolutely loved and am looking forward to reading the next book(s) in the series.

Gosh, there have been so many great cozies so far this year.
I agree, Chris. 🙂 We are just halfway through the year and I wonder how many more cozy debuts I get to see before December. 🙂
