9 Best Reads of May 2023

I can’t believe we are five months through 2023! May’s been an eventful month for me. I didn’t read a lot of books … maybe just 10 or so 😉 ahem. 😉 😉

We had lots of pre-monsoon showers in the past two weeks. I don’t suppose I must call it ‘showers’ because it seemed to rain like cats and dogs, never ending thunder and lightning to go with it.

I enjoyed almost all the books I read this month – I found some new series to follow from the KU catalog, caught up with some backlogs, and read a few for upcoming blog tours.

First, I have three releases from one of my favorite publishers – Boldwood Books.

Adrift by M.A. Hunter, Body at Carnival Bridge by Michelle Salter, & Savage Sisters by Heather Atkinson

Read my reviews:

Adrift by M.A. Hunter

The Body at Carnival Bridge by Michelle Salter

Savage Sisters by Heather Atkinson

Next, I have two books from another favorite publisher – One More Chapter/ Harper Collins UK

Read my reviews:

The Seventh Victim by Michael Wood

The Vanishing of Class 3B by Jackie Kabler

Next on the list are two books of the women’s fiction genre. Both authors are my favorite. 🙂

Read my reviews:

Fly Me to Paris by Helga Jensen

Four Secrets Kept by H.L. Marsay

Finally, two books – one is an author debut, and the other is an all-time favorite.

Read my reviews:

Liquid Shades of Blue by James Polkinghorn

The Windmill Murders by Mandy Morton
