Cozy Craft Mysteries Series in Order

#1: The Wonderland Murders

After losing her job at an exclusive London hotel, Penny Slipper is happy when her grandmother asks her to take charge of her sewing shop, the Cozy Craft, in charming rural Suffolk.

Penny’s cousin Izzy also manages the sewing shop and is a master at creativity. What could possibly go wrong when two creative heads join, eh?

Penny’s in town for less than a day when the local librarian is poisoned. Penny fears she might be accidentally responsible for the librarian’s death. Penny and Izzy are forced to turn detectives and find out the truth.

#2: The Painted Lobster Murders

A Classic Car weekend event is in torn and the stylish Fliss Starling wants an outfit that matches her husband’s elegant vintage car.

One of Fliss’s house guests is murdered by a masked intruder, and his poor dog is now homeless.

Fingers are soon pointing at Penny and Izzy as they were responsible for the distribution of masks. The rival shop owner, Carmella, would be too happy if Penny and Izzy are locked away (in prison) for good.

#3: The Sequinned Cape Murders

Nanna Lem’s eightieth birthday is coming up soon and Penny and Izzy are busier than ever, making fancy dress costumes for the party guests.

Penny’s back from a trip to London and is welcomed by a dead body in her bathroom. What’s more ‘interesting’ is Izzy’s note saying she will take care of the ‘problem.’

#4: The Swan Dress Murders

Penny and Izzy get invited for a wedding and they have an unusual dress commission to complete for one of the guests.

At the bachelorette party, one of the bridesmaids is found dead. She was a mean girl and the bride had selected her as a bridesmaid only because she was forced to.

Penny’s only problem seems to be in deciding her plus-one at the wedding. Should she take the handsome handyman Aubrey to the wedding? Or the cultured fabric expert Oscar suits better?

My Rating:

Rating: 5 out of 5.

#5: The Tie-Dyed Kaftan Murders

Izzy has moved in with her dog-trainer boyfriend Marcin. Things are looking good in Izzy’s life. The sewing cousins have been commissioned by the daughter of an old lady who recently passed away, to make memory bears.

A killer crossword in the local newspaper keeps the cousins guessing for answers. Penny wonders if the hints are too close to home – and if someone’s warning the readers of a possible murder.

The old woman’s death was initially tagged suspicious by the local police and later declared as death by accidental poisoning. Was the woman murdered? Or, as the inquest suggested, it was a case of accidental poisoning?
