8 Most Anticipated Books of April 2023

Is it April already? I am still catching up with March releases but here are a couple of exciting books I am looking forward to in April. Some of these books are latest installments in my favorite series while some, are series debuts and standalone thrillers.

Death in the Dark by Kitty Murphy & Covert in Cairo by Kelly Oliver

The first two books in my list are Death in the Dark by Kitty Murphy and Covert in Cairo by Kelly Oliver. While the former is a drag-themed cozy mystery, the latter is a historical cozy. Both are second installments in the series. Having enjoyed the series debuts, I am eagerly looking forward to reading the next in series.

A Fatal Encounter in Tuscany by Vivian Conroy & Murder in Florence by T.A. Williams

The next two books in my list are third installments in the series. A Fatal Encounter in Tuscany by Vivian Conroy and Murder in Florence by TA Williams Once again, I have read the previous installments and loved them. I am also familiar with the authors’ writing. Coincidentally, both books are set in Italy. πŸ™‚

Eat, Drink and Drop Dead by T.C. LoTempio & Bowled Over Americano by Carolyn Arnold

Next, I have two cozy series debuts. Eat, Drink and Drop Dead by T.C. LoTempio and Bowled over Americano by Carolyn Arnold. I am familiar with the authors’ writing and I have high expectations from these series debuts.

The Lost Wife by Georgina Lees & A Wealth of Deception by Trish Esden

The last two books in my April TBR are The Lost Wife by Georgina Lees and A Wealth of Deception by Trish Esden. Both authors are new to me but I have read good reviews for both these books on NetGalley. I cannot wait to dive in!

    1. Yes yes. I think I told you about it when the series debuted last year. It’s really good. 😊

    1. Looking forward to reading your thoughts on The Lost Wife, Sandy. 😊
Did you read Silent Victim by Michael Woods and Fiona Leitch’s latest Nosey Parker book? I am yet to read them but the reviews so far say both are very good.
