12 Most Anticipated Books of February 2023

I cannot believe we are through January! We went from Jan 1st to 31st at WARP 9.8!!

There are so many interesting titles releasing in February. I love my Feb-TBR! Some of the books/authors listed below are not new to me.

A Good Day to Pie by Misha Popp & Murder at an Irish Castle by Ellie Brannigan

I have heard of Misha Popp’s Pies Before Guys series and I cannot wait to dig into this second installment. Someone please send me a pie or two. I accept anything chocolate.

Murder at an Irish Castle is debut cozy mystery and I cannot wait to read it! Irish Village, quirky locals, sharp protagonist… YUP!! My kinda cozy mystery!

Wined and Died in New Orleans by Ellen Byron & Murder Served Neat by Michelle Hillen Klump

Both books are second in the series. Having read the first installment (and absolutely loving it), I am keeping my hopes high on these two. Fingers Crossed.

The Lonely Lake Killings by Wes Markin & The Weekend by L.H. Stacey

I read the first installment of Wes Markin’s Yorkshire Murders last year and when Rachel sent me in invite for a blog tour of the second book, I couldn’t say NO!

L.H. Stacey is an author new to me. But given that The Weekend is a Boldwood Books release, I am pretty sure it’s a super hit already!

Four Hidden Treasures by HL Marsay & Fatal Secrets by Anita Waller

I was so excited to learn that my favorite author HL Marsay (of Chief Inspector Shadow series) is dipping her toes into women’s fiction genre. I have followed Helen’s work from the start and I cannot wait to read Four Hidden Treasures.

As of writing this post, I have already read Fatal Secrets by Anita Waller. I wont tell you more about the story but I will say this: A fantastic series debut so make sure to add this to your list.

A Killer Unleashed by Jackie Layton & A Date to Die For by E.V. Hunter

Jackie Layton is back with the fifth installment of Andi Grace Mystery series. Having followed this series from the start, I am keeping my hopes high on this one.

A Date to Die For by E.V Hunter is a series debut and … what are you waiting for? Add it to your TBR ASAP. I have already read the book and I am thinking of bribing the author with chocolate cakes as long as she agrees to write one installment of this series every month. 😉

Long Way Home by J.B. Turner & The Housemaid’s Secret by Freida McFadden

I have been waiting for Freida McFadden’s second installment of The Housemaid series. J.B. Turner’s Jack McNeal is back too and I cannot wait to see what secrets he’s going to uncover this time.
