July was quite an eventful month. I caught up with some series from my TBR. Did a lot of binge watching (Star Trek mostly) and a bit of cooking. I also started participating in weekly blog prompts: Top Ten Tuesday and Sunday Post Meme. I have some more exciting ideas for non-bookish posts. Let me keep that a surprise for now. 🙂
By the way, this is my 1000th post. I cannot believe it’s been four years since I started this blog and I have written 1000 posts so far. Here’s to another 1000… and then some more. 😀
Our cat Peter (female) became a proud (and a little tired) mumma to six kittens! SIX!!! For now, they will be called P1, P2, P3, P4, P5 and P6. Just five days old and they already meow and move around. Peppy’s kittens did not meow until they were two months old. Well, Peppy is still a baby cat (1.5 years old) and Peter is… grandma cat? Lol, I shouldn’t be calling her that but technically, she’s over six years old.
Both cats were strays until they came to our place six months ago. They have adjusted okay – Peppy has an issue with our neighbor’s cats Caramel and Toffee; Peter doesn’t mind them. Peppy’s been spayed now and it’s Peter’s turn next. On a side note, Vet charges are quite expensive here. We paid almost 20k for Peppy’s operation + hospitalization (2 days).
