A Wedding at Wynter House is the third and final book in the Wyntersleap series by Emily Harvale.

I cannot believe we are here! In the first book, we saw Neva and Rafe go from frenemies to lovers. In the second book, we saw Jo, Neva’s best friend, move to Merriment Bay. In this book, there’s a wedding. So, who is the bride and groom?

Hot air balloons, valentine’s day dance night, fish and chips, wine and a blast from the past, Phew! This story is packed with so much information, if I start to list them all, one review post will not be enough… unless, you want to read a short story-sized review!

Neva and Rafe are going strong. It’s been just two months since they started dating but Neva feels like she’s been with Rafe her whole life. Meanwhile, Jo is still single. After her ex-fiance threw her out of the house… um, she anyways wanted to breakup so no hard feelings there… Jo came to Merriment Bay after the breakup. Jo and Neva are to start their saloon at Merriment Bay.

As much as I liked Neva, I cannot say the same about Jo. It is understandable that when everybody around is swooning in love, Jo is single. It does hurt, but Jo starts to feel envious and turns out to be a little bitchy! Ahem, she craves for some (and then some more)… sex. it was kinda annoying to see Jo act so desperate!

Anyhoo, the twist halfway through the story was unexpected. I was like, oh, wow! Love tip: when the ex makes an appearance, the new-found love is on shaky grounds. Although the other characters do have a role in the story, I felt the spotlight was on Rafe and Neva.

A surprise as the story ends swept me off my feet. Olivia is not all Ms Grumpy, after all! I really enjoyed each and every book in this series. Emily Harvale has packed a lot of information, romance and whole lot of fun in this 3-book series. I cannot wait to read more of Emily’s works. πŸ™‚
