Charlie wants to introduce fresh flavours to the Bear Claw Diner menu but chef Oliver says NO.  After a tiff with Charlie, Oliver walks out of the diner and is found dead the next day.

Quinn Victoria Caine is back to her quirky town of Vienna, Virginia, to start her new life as a bookbinder in her family-owned bookshop. She bumps into her ex Scott and her high school nemesis Tricia. Their recent engagement seems to be the talk of the town, well, Quinn surely has heard more than her share of the news. But what Quinn did not expect is finding Tricia dead in the middle of the road.

Nell Valenti is offered a chance to move to Tuscany to help transform an ageing villa to a farm-to-table cooking school. But when Nell reaches the place, she realises she’s in for a toss. The place is in shambles, a filmmaker who was sent to showcase and advertise the new school is found murdered and the chef is missing.

An aggressive real estate developer is trying to acquire Roberts’ grandmother Rose’s B&B. Things take a turn for worse when his body is found at the foot of Rose’s property and the police suspect Rose of killing him.

Her plan is to hammer a great big FOR SALE sign into the farm’s fallow furrows–but Charlotte’s sunny hopes of a quick sale succumb to a killing frost when she finds a dead body entwined supine in the tomato vines. Chloe Jackson has promised to help her late friend’s grandmother Vivi run the Sea Glass Saloon. Vivi and a Sea Glass regular’s bitter argument ends with the regular lying dead behind the bar. Vivi is the main suspect in his murder.
